Hallett Race
Oct 3-5, 2003

James Allen, from Kansas City,  turns onto start/finish straight in car he recently brought out of retirement after a decade or so of starting a family. He also got his younger brother involved with Minis.

Tim Webb, from Arkansas, comes out of the last turn heading for the start/finsih line in his immaculate, fast Mini.  Tim "sponsored" a couple of well-attended cookouts for Mini drivers during the weekend which dodged heavy rains during the day.

Way too much Mini Brain Power in one small location...oxygen got scarce there for a while

Tim Webb (far left, in red pullover) and Greg Wold (red baseball cap) chat while Greg's brother Kermit Wold (no hat) helps check out Tim's distributor which was thought to be causing a "no start" problem but which was later to be discovered was a bad head. Kermit kept bugging Tim to borrow a head and run against his brother on Sunday, which he did thanks to a load of kind folks.

Tim and Greg, (upper right photo) who won three out of the four races, are still chatting away as an unidentified helper and Kermit Wold continue to work on the distributor as Tim Allen (extreme left), Mini owner/builder and brother of Kansas City Mini driver James Allan, looks on.
